I wanted something that replicated more police more than just a simple flip flop with a single 555 or 556 timer. After doing a considerable amount of research I finally pieced together a working flasher. The 555 timer controls the decade decoder (4017B CMOS) to get a two flash per set. I am working on creating a schematic with a detailed components list.
